IAM: INDIGENOUS ACCESS MEDIA

In 2021 sisters Autumn Chacon and Nani Chacon will launch Indigenous Access Media. IAM is a public common for Indigenous People worldwide, by providing a media host where individuals and groups can share content made by and for Indigenous People on an independent online platform.

In creation of this platform we will promote Indigenous built infrastructure where Indigenous philosophy and visibility of Indigenous peoples is central to content. This platform will be available without biased content censoring, predatory surveillance including, data harvesting and suggested content.

IAM is committed to creating a platform that promotes equality amongst content providers and operates in the public-interest without organizational profit motives beyond sustaining the website and its content.

Our goal is to preserve the sacredness of communication and recognize it as a gift and responsibility to our ancestors, those who rely on us to represent their best interest, including plants, animals and Mother Earth.

We strive to encourage the preservation of first Languages, knowledge and tradition in a new media landscape, as well as promote creative expressions and non-traditional content.

STAY TUNED! IAM WILL BE LAUNCHING SPRING 2021!
